Train Lines¶

Train Lines can be used to group multiple trains and override their train name with a custom name. This means that all trains that travel the same route or serve the same line, can have the same name, while all the individual trains can have any name. Train Lines are created in the Global Settings, but must be assigned to trains in a New Schedule Section entry in the train schedule. This means that a train can change its train line during its journey if desired. You can also select a color, which is then used for the trains in the navigator. If no color is selected, the default dark gray color is used or the color of the train category.

Note

If a train is assigned to a train category that also has a color, then the color of the train line will still be used with priority. Only if the train line has no color then the color of the train category will be used instead.
